- Kayak trip on the Chao Phraya River in Central Thailand from Ayutthaya until Bang Sai as part of the Chao Phraya River Kayak Route.

- Ayutthaya (Wat Khun Phrom ferry crossing) - Bang Sai (Wat Pho Taeng Tai) done on 19 August 2012. The weather was clouded. Temperature was 32.5 C and the wind blew south-southwest at 29.7 Km/hr. There was rising tide until past noon and even in the afternoon there was hardly any river current. We met one large water hyacinth obstruction, blocking the whole Chao Phraya River for about 500 meter, south of the mouth of the Noi River; which we could take in the wake of a tug boat.
- Technical data of the trip was as follows: Total Distance: 34,1 Km; Moving Average: 5 Km/Hr; Overall Average: 4.1 Km/Hr; Maximum Speed: 7.9 Km/Hr; Moving time: 6 Hr 51 Min; Stopped Time: 1 Hr 23 Min; Total Time: 8 Hr 14 Min. We made a lunch stop at a riverside restaurant in Bang Pa-In.
