- Kayak trip on the Chao Phraya River in Central Thailand from Phra Pradaeng until Phra Samut Chedi as part of the Chao Phraya River Kayak Route.
- Technical data:
- We started off from the Montien Riverside Hotel pier at 0900 Hr. The city traffic was behind us, but we paddled now in the port area of Khlong Toei with all its ship traffic. We took a nearly two hour lunch break at the Bangkok Tree House in Bang Nam Phueng at 1300 Hr. The weather was sunny and hot. Temperature was 35.7 C (shadow) and the wind blew east at 18.5 Km/hr.
- We got rising tide until noon, which slowed definitely down our progress in the morning. We crossed three times the fairway in order to cut off some large bends and got one close encounter with an outgoing fast moving sea vessel, which in fact we did not spot timely. The last arrival point at Phra Samut Chedi was met at 1730 Hr.
- Technical data of the trip was as follows: Total Distance: 31,7 Km; Moving Average: 5 Km/Hr; Overall Average: 3.7 Km/Hr; Maximum Speed: 7.9 Km/Hr; Moving time: 6 Hr 23 Min; Stopped Time: 2 Hr 12 Min; Total Time: 8 Hr 35 Min.
